Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies (such as local storage) can store small amounts of data in the same way. We use them only where they are needed to run Haaafla or remember your preferences.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics or cross-site tracking.
Essential — when you sign in to the organizer dashboard, we set a session cookie and a CSRF-protection cookie. These are required for login and security and cannot be turned off while you are signed in.
Functional — we remember interface preferences, such as your light/dark theme and whether the dashboard sidebar is expanded (a “sidebar” cookie that lasts about 7 days). A cookie also records your choice on our cookie notice so we don’t show it again.
Security — public actions that are prone to abuse (award nominations and votes) use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots. Cloudflare may set its own cookies to deliver that challenge.
We do not set advertising or marketing cookies, and we do not use analytics suites that profile you across sites. Payments are handled on our payment processor’s secure pages; we do not store card details.
You can accept or limit to essential cookies using the notice shown on your first visit. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Because the cookies we use are essential or functional, blocking them may stop parts of the platform (such as signing in or staying signed in) from working correctly.
For how we handle personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy and Security & Data Handling pages.
